Have You Heard About Nintendo Wii?
All About Nintendo Wii
Through the days of GameCube, GameBoy, Entertainment System
and the DS line, there was really little between the likes of
Nintendo, Microsoft (Xbox) and Sony (PS) in video gaming. The
first version of Nintendo Wii barely came out almost two years
ago. The Nintendo Wii has a very sleek and compact look and it
is distinctly different from other gaming systems.
In such a short time, the original games released with the Wii
almost appear retro. Because to occupy pole position, the
Nintendo Wii had to be top-notch as a lifestyle item. And now
they're going one step further with their Wii Media
Downloads.
Now you can play a game you download to your Nintendo Wii and
downloading another game at the same time. Everything about Wii
revolves around the remote controller and Nintendo Wii Games
are no exception. many people point to its wireless controller
as its major feature of difference, this is really only the
beginning.
So much for the 'couch potato' image of video gaming as the
intrinsic specialty of Nintendo Wii Games is the players'
movement. Or you can view and edit photos, taken with a digital
camera by inserting the SD card into it and it can also be used
to surf thru the Internet.
There is even an adaptor that fits over the remote for those
who are more accustomed to the old-version controller. The
Nintendo Wii uses a two piece controller called the Wiimote and
the Nunchuk to interact with the games using motion, gestures
and angles. This motion control enhancement allows anyone to
jump in and play while reflecting the actual movements for a
more tactical, physical experience.
A wide variety of games are available spanning sports, action,
fighting, puzzles, casino and others. The Nintendo Wii scored
some major gains and is now breathing down the Xbox 360's neck.
Players can use their own Wii characters in the game and play
them against their friends Wii's for a more personalized
experience.
The Nintendo Wii is backward compatible to the games of
GameCube and even Entertainment System series. The media bay
will also accept the old GameCube discs along with the newer
Wii version. And players can now enjoy the Internet's most
popular web based games such as Bejeweled and Solitaire
directly thru their Wii console.
The Nintendo Wii system comes with 512MB of internal flash
memory, which is more than enough for most gamer's game saves
and the second purpose is to illustrate battery life. But the
last plus Nintendo Wii is offering Wii-fans, is a virtual
console download.
Of course a great service like this will cost you a bit-but not
as much as you might think. But there is no recurring billing
at all and the cost is just under the average price of a Wii
game.
